Tonight's Table Topic: "It's not what you're called, But what you answer to". We discussed some of the nice and not so nice names we have been called and how those references made us feel. We need to watch our words because they have the potential to leave life-long scars! Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. (Proverbs 18:21 AMP)
The placecards included a picture of each guest and their name was viewed as an acronym- using affirming adjectives to describe the person. The origin and meaning of our names was discussed and evaluated from a life-giving, positive perspective. Praise God!
